New figures released by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries this week show that car emissions in Australia have reached a record low. The new S60 is the first car in the world with a system to see pedestrians and brake automatically if there is an chance of a collision. On the safety front, and in addition to the pedestrian-protection system, Volvo is fitting a more-advanced ESP stability system that detects skidding earlier, the City Safety system which brakes automatically to avoid car to car collisions introduced on the XC60 and a new corner traction control system. How to export your invoices and job data from Crashzone
* Click on the settings link to access the settings page
* Scroll down to the backup section in the settings page
* Enter the quote range for the export ( quote number “From” “To” )
* Click on “CSV” to generate the file
* You will receive an email with a link to download
* Download the file from your email
* Extract the ZIP file to your computer

* Once extracted you will have 2 new files detail.csv and Invoic.csv

1/ Detail.csv is a list of all the data from your Crashzone system for the quote range selected
2/ Invoice.csv is a list of all invoices in the quote range selected

Toyota has today announced a global recall of the 2010 Toyota Prius. The recall affects 2378 Prius cars in Australia and around 400,000 globally. This issue is not a ‘failure’, as such, but an inconsistency in brake feel explaining that the complaints concerned the brake pedal going soft after ABS activation on some surfaces. The 911 Turbo S, completing the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in a V8 Supercar beating 3.3 seconds.The S, which will be available locally in coupe and cabriolet form from August, gets a tweaked version of the Turbo’s 3.8-litre flat six. Power is up from 368kW to 390kW, while torque jumps from 650Nm to 700Nm. Despite the extra performance, fuel consumption stays the same at 11.4 litres per 100km.
